Mythril Farm
 

Mythril Farm was created from a dream and a bare piece of land, the first structure was erected in April 2002. We came here to live a life of peace and tranquillity, where we, and others, could rediscover our natural selves. Our guests are invited to experience the force and energy which created this paradise and persists here; one that calms, restores and rejuvenates. Feel free to take walks around the farm, to swim in the dam and visit with our beautiful Arabian Horses. ( Pony rides are available for children). If you are feeling adventurous, there are country roads outside the farm which can lead to a very rewarding stroll or hike.

Mythril offers beautifully situated self-catering cottages overlooking the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains and our picturesque dam, which attracts a wide variety of indigenous birdlife, particularly Grey Herons, Cormorants, King Fishers and the occasional Fish Eagle. The latest addition to our family are 2 Bontebok and 5 Impala, who wander past the cottages quite freely and are becoming more tame by the day.

Our cottages are fully equipped with high quality fittings and equipment. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchens have a full complement of cutlery and crockery as well as cooking utensils, pots, pans, dish towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee and sugar. Each lounge has a Television with SABC TV, a video recorder and a small Hi-fi/CD player.

Our newly constructed entertainment Lapa, on the water's edge, is fully equipped with Braai facilities, cutlery, crockery, ablution facilities and a CD player.

Situated 15 min. from George and 4 min. from the pristine Glentana Beach, Mythril Cottages offer the best of both worlds, affording the guest a private and relaxing environment, out of the mainstream tourist route, but at the same time, quick and easy access to the many pleasures of The Garden Route.
