Boulders Beach Lodge, built with passion by its owner, Frans, has grown from a tourism accommodation establishment to the centre of a revitalising drive to conserve the beautiful nature of the home in which they find themselves.

Situated just footsteps from boulders beach, home to the african penguin, our lodge is nestled in a sheltered cove where the mountains meet the sea and exudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.
 

Our intent is to ensure your absolute comfort to enable you to relax and delight in the surrounds of our beautiful coastline. you will be welcomed by our friendly, courteous and efficient staff who guarantee you a pleasurable stay.

For our sun lounging guests boulders beach is a short waddle away where you can bask in the sun or swim at your leisure, usually in the company of one of the african penguins that call this haven home.

Boulders coastal park, which forms part of the table mountain national park, is one of the few sites where this vulnerable bird can be observed at close range. the penguins can generally be found walking around the lodge and restaurant.

Accommodation

12 en-suite bedrooms – decorated simply with a taste for the natural and unpretentious with comfortable wrought iron beds. double or twin rooms are on offer. the bathrooms are faultless and little extras have been taken care of to accommodate your needs.

2 self catering units are available with fully equipped kitchen and lounge. there are 2 bedrooms in each unit – one double and one twin and a double sleeper couch. come and go at your leisure – ideal for families.

• bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total amount due.

• this deposit must be received within 5 working days of the reservation.

• cancellation policy: if the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded, less 10% cancellation fee of the contracted value.

• if the booking is cancelled or reduced within 30 days of the date of arrival the deposit will not be refunded.

penguin place function house
Adjacent to our lodge lies our function house. situated just metres from boulders beach, penguin place is a haven for weddings, private functions or conferences. the function room has warm sand washed walls and boasts sea views, sunrises & moonrises making our venue suitable for all functions morning, afternoon or evening. we are a young, flexible and dynamic team willing to accommodate any requirements or offer suggestions.

Penguin place accommodates 20–50 people for conferences with overnight packages available. standard conference equipment is provided but arrangements can be made for any specialized requirements. penguin place function venue holds a maximum of 70 for weddings or private functions with dancing space available for a small group. there is a small bar/lounge area. catering is provided onsite.

R3 000 non refundable holding date fee. décor can be arranged according to individual taste but subject to hiring costs. 50% of contracted amount non refundable cancellation fee.

Day conference package
R220 per delegate includes – tea/coffee on arrival, mid-morning and afternoon, lunch and standard equipment.
conferences are all prepaid per number of delegates.

Overnight conference package
R595 per delegate includes – day conference package, overnight and breakfast.
