Waterland Lodge is set in the beautiful Hout Bay Valley on the banks of the Disa River, surrounded by the Table Mountain range and adjoining the Orangekloof Nature Reserve.

The serene tranquillity of the 3-acre Waterland Estate will enchant you with its willow trees, abundant birdlife and geese on the pond.

Accommodation
At Waterland Lodge accommodation is in luxurious, comfortably appointed studios. Each chalet has it's own kitchenette, private entrance, patio and barbecue area.

Accommodation is either self-catering in the fully equipped cottages or for those who prefer, on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Enjoy delicious breakfasts in the conservatory overlooking the sparkling pool and garden. At Waterland Lodge accommodation is in modernised, Cape Cottages situated on 3 acres of park-like gardens on the banks of the Disa River, only 20 minutes from the City and Cape Town's popular Waterfront.

All the chalets are fully equipped for self-catering and each has its own garden and barbecue. Enjoy the tranquil setting from your patio and view the abundant birdlife on the banks of the Disa River.

The large, luxurious suites are perfect for the discerning business executive. Sumptuous breakfasts are served in the Conservatory overlooking the large swimming pool and gardens. Each Chalet has a colour Television set. Rooms are wheelchair friendly and our tariffs are affordable!

Accommodation is either in rooms in the main building or in separate, Farm Style Cottages, away from Main Building. Self-catering Accommodation is in the fully equipped cottages. For those who prefer, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation is in the Main Lodge. Breakfast is served daily in the conservatory. Self-catering Accommodation in Fully Equipped Cottages:

DAISY COTTAGE: The main cottage has 1 upstairs bedroom with a double bed and sleeping deck for children. A spacious open-plan lounge / dining room / full kitchen. The bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower. There is a 2nd bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite shower with a separate entrance opening onto a central patio, but attached to the main cottage. It has it's own TV and fridge so can be let separately or as part of the main cottage.

ROSE COTTAGE: The main cottage has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms (main-en-suite). The main bedroom has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. Open-plan lounge / dining room / full kitchen. There is a 3rd bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom (shower) - it is attached to the main cottage but has a separate entrance for extra privacy. Suitable for up to 6 persons.

WILLOW COTTAGE: Willow Cottage has a bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower. Separate small lounge, Kitchenette with mini-stove, private patio & Barbecue. This cottage is suitable for 2 people.

ACORN COTTAGE: Acorn Cottage has a small open-plan lounge / en-suite bedroom (shower) with double bed. Kitchenette with mini-stove, private patio & barbecue. This cottage is suitable for 2 people.

THE GARDEN SUITE: A large en-suite bedroom (with separate bath & shower) with open-plan lounge area and kitchenette with microwave. More upmarket than the cottages. Double or single beds.

THE DISA SUITE: Overlooking the beautiful duck pond. A large en-suite bedroom with twin beds. (with separate bath & shower) with open-plan lounge area and kitchenette with microwave. More upmarket than the cottages.

THE MALLARD SUITE: Overlooking the beautiful duck pond. A large en-suite bedroom with double bed. (with separate bath & shower) with open-plan lounge area and kitchenette with microwave. More upmarket than the cottages.

THE POOL ROOM: Bedroom with en-suite shower and double bed. Fridge & tea tray. Separate entrance and private patio overlooking the pool. Barbecue facilities.

PALM SUITE: Upstairs in the Guest House with private entrance. Consists of a large bed-sitter (with twin beds) and with private balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Kitchenette with mini-stove. Second bedroom with own entrance (double bed and sleeping deck) leads onto wooden view deck. Family bathroom with separate bath and shower.
