THE SOUTHERN RIGHT
HOTEL:
The rejuvenation of this
Victorian beach hotel honours the THE SOUTHERN RIGHT HOTEL:
The rejuvenation of this Victorian beach hotel honours the Southern Right
whales that migrate to our shores every year. This 100-year-old fully
restored hotel is the right spot for sighting whales and is the gateway to
the Cape Point Route.
Renovations were designed to restore the original façade of the building and
bring the damaged woodwork back to it’s former glory. The fresh face of the
Southern Right Hotel has maintained the traditional tones and period
features of a bygone era.
We’ve taken the best of the past into the future.
The intertwining of Victorian history and contemporary requirements of the

geography and the pleasure of living in their commitment to creating a venue
