The Avenue Hotel was established in 1936, and has recently been extensively upgraded. The Hotel is situated on the False Bay coastline in the small town of Fish Hoek, just 30 minutes drive from Cape Town city centre, en-route to Simon's Town.

The facilities of the Hotel offer a tastefully decorated lounge, a sun room/library, and an intimate bar that leads off onto a large courtyard and pool area.

The Hotel has recently won two awards from one of the largest Tour Operators in the United Kingdom. The first being "Highly Commended" and the other being "Good Food". These awards are based solely on Guest Comment Feedback, and are an indictment of our team's continued commitment to quality of service to our Guests.

The Hotel has 42 en-suite rooms in the Three Star section, which are elegantly decorated furnished with telephone and television and cater for the long-term stays, as well as families, and a further 9 en-suite rooms in the Four Star section called the Constantia House.

DINING

The Hotel's restaurant offers a full Buffet Continental & English Breakfast, as well as a comprehensive Buffet Dinner. A light Lunch is also served in the restaurant daily. However, for that special occasion or function our chef has a variety of delicious gourmet menus for you to choose from, as well as vegetarian dishes on request.
