ACCOMMODATION
This boutique hotel is a haven of serenity with a choice of nineteen elegant, air-conditioned rooms located in the original Manor House, Jonker's Huis and the restored Barn. On warm summer days or long summer evenings, you can go for a swim or enjoy a quiet cocktail by the pool. Enjoy a convivial drink in the bar, or simply the peace of one of the inviting lounges.

The Barn: This is the largest house and contains nine bedrooms. Two Junior Suites (Champagne, Pinotage), both spacious rooms with large bathrooms. The patios overlooks the mountains and forest, facing west for lovely afternoon sun. Three ground floor Luxury Rooms (Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Colombard), all with doors leading onto the patio facing the Steenberg Winery on the hill. Five upstairs Luxury Rooms (Shiraz, Hermitage, Merlot, Gewürtztraminer, Muscadel), all loft rooms with the ceilings that follow the natural flow of the Cape Dutch buildings. Lovely appointed bathrooms with timber floors.

The Manor: This original farm house is the oldest building on the Estate, dating back to 1682.  Beautiful antiques and ornaments reflect the elegant style of the 17th and 18th centuries. This house consists of 4 rooms - One Manor Suite (Chardonnay), with an impressive 4-poster bed and a view of the Rose Garden. Two Junior Suites (Sauvignon Blanc & Hanepoot), both with original beamed ceilings and antique pieces. One Luxury Room (Semillon), overlooking the grassed Cape Dutch 'werf' or courtyard.

Jonkershuis: The name of the building directly translated from Afrikaans is "young man's house" - this was the house which the oldest son moved into after his marriage. Out of his mother's house but still a stone throw away. We have 5 rooms in this house - Two Junior Suites (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon), both ground floor rooms with a back door leading out onto a patio overlooking the vineyards and the golf course in the distance. Three luxury Rooms (Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Bukettraube), all loft rooms with skylight windows and spectacular views over False Bay.

Conference Venue: Steenberg Golf Club: Reading Room Capacity: Boardroom - 14 | U-Shape - 14 | School Room - 20 | Theatre - 35 | Round Tables - 40.  Ladies Bar & Dance Floor area. Capacity: Up to 120 delegates Cinema Style. Equipment: TV and VCR, Flipchart, Overhead Projector, Screen. All other technical equipment can be hired at an extra charge.

WEDDINGS
Our Wedding Package includes the following: Venue: The bridal couple has a choice of getting married in a church of their choice or in the Manor House garden or at the Steenberg Golf Club. Venue for the Function: Steenberg Golf Club - Maximum of 80 people for a dinner dance. Round tables that comfortably seat 8. 1 x bridal table for 6 people. Bar: Open bar facility available with a full range of Steenberg Wines to choose from. Wines can be tasted at our State of the Art winery. Pre-dinner Drinks and Snacks: Pre-dinner drinks can be arranged as well as open canapé’s of the bride and grooms choice – Guests can interface, while waiting for the bride and groom to finish with the photos. Wedding Cake: Any type of wedding cake can be arranged from the 2 to 3 tier fruit cake to a token cake made of candle wax. The Tables: Can be decorated to the taste of the bridal couple e.g. Disposable cameras on the table so that guest can snap away to create instant memories.

Entertainment
A Disco Jockey based at Steenberg can be arranged as well as any type of other entertainment to suit the couples need. Photographer: A range of photographers can be organised. Video: A professional cameraman can be arranged on request. Flowers: The range of flowers available is extensive, all dependent on the season. We can organise all the flowers required from Bouquets to table arrangements. Minister: An ordained (licensed) – interdenominational - minister is available to perform wedding ceremonies. Cuisine: Traditional Cape Cuisine, from which with 2 or 3 course menus can be put together or a full Buffet Meal or combined – all depends on the couples requirements. Other: Linen, gazebo, chairs, covers, interior decorating can all be arranged upon request as well as Horse & Carriage and painted dance floors.
