About Aloe Guest House:

• Our aim is to provide affordable accommodation to both the local and international market, without compromising on style, amenities or service

• All suites have separate entrances leading onto the pool and garden area.

• Enjoy a full farmhouse breakfast to start your day: Assorted cereals and yoghurts, fresh fruit platter, local cheeses, preserves and cold meats, muffins, croissants and other baked goods, bacon, sausages, grilled tomato and grilled mushrooms, eggs done to your request, toast, tea, coffee and fruit juices. If you let us know the night before, we will pack you a picnic breakfast to enjoy at one of the many scenic spots in Hermanus.

• You have to try our famous shortbread, complimentary in the rooms.

• All rooms have hospitality trays, TV’s with 7 channels, safes, hairdryers, panic buttons, fridges, telephones crisp white linen and secure parking. Some rooms have ports for laptop computers.

• Our large saltwater pool and water features form a lovely view from the rooms.

• All rooms have full en-suite ‘garden bathrooms’ with large fluffy white towels and a selection of body products.

• We are an easy walk to town, shops, restaurants and the cliff paths.

• Let us know the day before, and we’ll pack you a picnic to enjoy on the Cliff paths while whale watching or on the beach.

• Supervised children are welcome.

• We are only 120km from Cape Town. Close enough for a weekend getaway…

Rooms and Rates

Rates: (current until end August 2005)
Suites (Rooms 1-4)– Queen bed or twin beds: Charged per person
R300 per person per night including a full breakfast
Children under 4 years – free when sharing with parents
Children 4-14 years – R150 when sharing with parents
14 years + - full rate

Third person per suite (on the sleeper couch) R200 inclusive of breakfast.

There will be a 10% increase in rates from 1 September 2005
R330 pp
R220 pp on sleeper couch
R165 per child over 4

Luxury suite (Room 5): charged for the suite
R1000 for the suite. Including breakfast.
The luxury suite can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults (2 in the loft bedroom, and one on the sleeper couch) or 2 adults and 2 children. The price for the suite is fixed, irrespective of the amount of people, to the above maximums.

The luxury suite has a private garden with it’s own swimming pool and braai (barbeque), a ‘garden shower’, loft bedroom and other features

We have a sister Guest House, namely 16 Reasons Guest House only 100m away, and between us we can accommodate larger groups for special events and small conferences. We are happy to quote on buffet dinners, or catered braais, should you have a group booking.
