The Hout Street Gallery on Hout

The Hout Street Gallery was established in 1975. From small beginnings, it
has grown to be the foremost of it’s kind in the Cape Province.
Our home is Georgian in style, and the Gallery boasts the oldest original
shop front in Paarl. The Gallery itself has four large exhibition rooms, and
abuts on the Main Road of Paarl.
Local artists are shown, as well as works from the whole of Southern Africa.
Paintings, sculpture, and ceramics are our specialty as well as hand-blown
glass. We have an extensive range of functional art and gifts together with
a large range of Carrol Boyes pewter tableware. We consign world-wide and
have hundreds of happy clients whose work arrived in perfect order.
Our Gallery is run as a husband and wife team; David and Gail Zetler. We are
assisted by Mark as well as Christel, who is German speaking.
Our Gallery was noted in the "South Africa" issue of the American Express
Departures Magazine, and recommended as one of the finest Galleries in the
Western Cape of South Africa to visit for Art, Glass & Pewter tableware
