She started her own business 13 years ago, operating from her house in Observatory.
It wasn't long before she began expanding the business and today, Rose Eedes Properties operates in the areas of City Bowl, Atlantic Seaboard, Southern Suburbs and the Cape Peninsula.
The business now has three offices, Station Road in Observatory, Kloof Street in Gardens and Main Road in Fish Hoek.

Roses' financial sense has stood her in good stead with the day-to-day running of her business, which she sees as being vital to the survival of the business.
She sees her staff as being one of the most important aspects of the business and takes a keen interest in their development.
"We have tapped into the market in Observatory and the City Bowl and many of our consultants operating in these areas are young, up-and-coming and vibrant to meeting the needs of this market. My approach to the management of my staff is to encourage them to build their own businesses within my business. It's important to me to empower my consultants so that they don't feel like they have a boss looking over their shoulder all the time." |
