The Boland is the largest wine and fruit-producing region in South Africa. This picturesque area with beautiful mountains and valleys is 150km from the sea. Worcester boasts with the biggest brandy cellar in the Southern Hemisphere, while Robertson is known for its excellent wines and Bonnievale for its variety of cheese. The area is also well known for its racehorse breeding and also the hot water spring in the mountain.
