Petals,
I am a chief who has spent most of my 15 year culinary career on creating
cakes, pastries and deserts for weddings, special occasions and
celebrations.
My passion and love for
the "sweeter" things in life spouted from my experience as a pastry chef
working for the Southern Sun Hotel Group and finally for ten years at the
prestigious Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town.
Everyone of my cakes is an
individually crafted masterpiece that is made to be the focus point of your
special day of celebration. I constantly explore new and creative ideas with
chocolate and other ingredients to make fashionable and interesting cakes.
Today I
dedicate my life to these "castles of cuisine" and I also work very closely
with David Higgs and Wynand du Plessis in partnership with Extreeme Kwizeen.
We are based on the Meerendal Estate, home to the Meerendal Hospitality
Accademy, along with a magnificent function venue and wedding chapel.
Many other exciting
developments are also planned for the future.
