Each custom built individual unit, with feature en-suite bathroom, is equipped with luxury bedding and stylish décor.

Extra length, International standard beds ensure your perfect nights sleep. A choice of DVD's or the many DSTV channels are available in each unit, as well as chess, or backgammon boards.

House Hammond has equipped its bathrooms for the most discerning guest: walk-in showers, luxurious towelling robes, recessed toilet, thick bath sheets and deep, extra length baths.

Knysna nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route of South Africa. It is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, making it a real natural wonderland.

Things you can do include:

• The Knysna Heads - go for a walk along the Heads and see the panoramic views of the town and lagoon.
• The Outeniqua Choo Tjoe - this unique steam train departs daily, with the exception of Sunday, from Knysna to George.
• A ferry ride across the Lagoon is a great way to see the Knysna Heads and visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve.
• Beaches - There is no beach in Knysna itself, but the coast surrounding Knysna has some really beautiful places to visit for the day. Visit Brenton-on-Sea, Buffalo Bay, Bollard Bay on Leisure Isle, and the beach and estuary at Noetzie.
• Whale and Dolphin Watching - The Knysna coastline is home to one of the highest diversity of marine mammals in the world - including whales and dolphins.
• Abseiling - Knysna has awesome scenery and what better way to experience it then abseiling the cliffs at the Heads.
• Diving - Diving along the Knysna coastline is a great experience. Contact a local dive shop for information before going diving.

An ideal venue for wedding parties from 6 to 100 guests. Catering may be in-house or brought in. Choose from a menu including spit roast buffet meal or 3 course. Accommodate the immediate wedding party families for the entire weekend. Ceremony can be held on site around the pool. Special rates available for inclusive booking.

Dining Room
Relax in the open dining-room overlooking the deck around the pool. Enjoy a superb 3-course meal by appointment. We can seat up to 30 or you could have an intimate dinner for two on our secluded, private deck.

Private Parties
Host your own special party around the four-sided log fire and pool-deck. Catering is offered from snacks to a 3-course sit down meal. Fully serviced bar available.
